'The Girl Who Waited' writer gives us some new information...
Hello. Today, Tom MacRae, writer of The Girl Who Waited (Episode 10), was tweeting, answering any questions on Doctor Who that anyone had. When I saw the tweet, I replied asking:

How did you come up with the idea for The Girl Who Waited?
He then replied with:
It all started with something I have in my house, and I thought 'Ooh, what if, instead of doing what it does, it did THIS?'So, what could he be talking about? What thing in his house is he describing? We'll have to wait until The Girl Who Waited but we now know that in the episode, something (maybe titled something different) has a different purpose to something found in a house.
